We have trouble scoring against 13 players, let alone 14. But still, I ain't blaming officials so far, we've been out muscled and Hunt is outplaying our halves.
Looking at tomorrow's games, the only interesting (magic?) game looks to be Sharks Roosters. The other two might provide some novelty factors for various reasons.
The set we got gifted in Canberra's 20 with about 4 minutes to go was so bad, I don't think I can undo that memory even with very high proof bourbon. I mean, that was shockingly bad.
I remember listening to that game on abc radio. I think it was probably Peter Wilkins trying to describe what he saw. Looking back at it now, f'en funny stuff.
I think we have been playing better than a few current top 8 teams (eg - Manly and Fins) over the past last month or so. If we keep the good performances up, we'll slowly climb the ladder. Let's hope we can finally win a magic round game.
I still don't know what he did wrong. Everything he said was accurate. And when you look at the standard of officiating in all 3 games today, what he said rings ever truer.
FMD there was some poor reffing in all 3 games today. Titans should have had a penalty near the end and they could have levelled up the score. Same with the Cows in this game. Guess we'll get the same standard 'we got it wrong' presser from Annesley on Monday.
Souffs letting Reynolds go was a terrible decision. I mean, I don't really care either way, cause I hate both teams, but Souffs have regressed badly since then. It's actually been enjoyable to watch.
Looks like minimum 3 months for Reynolds. That was a bit of a shit show from The Broncos. Walsh chipping and chasing on first tackles, trying to score of every play, no structure to their defence. Kevvie has to own up to some of this.
Imagine not even able to beat the Roosters. Seriously though, apart from the first two rounds, the Dogs have looked just as good as anyone, maybe not Penwith.
Happy Parrascum lost, but that definitely wasn't a win for Rugby League. Rubbish quality game. The Dogs easily beat both of these teams. But I did enjoy seeing queen Gutho having his usual sook.
