This man mid 30s, a jockey very highly regarded and from all I knew of him a champion bloke has died today in a tragic race fall.

I have a micro interest in a horse called Unusual Pearl he rode for the big team to victory in late March over in Victoria..so had seen a number of videos interviews and updates from Dean.

I am gutted for his family, 4 young kids lost their dad today OMG

A gofundme page started on Monday and with a target of 500K to help Lucy Holland and the 4 little ones in dire times has been OBLITERATED I'm stoked to say.
As of now its sits at $1.077 million.
This is outstanding, super glad there are so many that care about this.

That's horrible to hear. He was a very good jockey. As much as everyone loves a punt this is a reminder that these jockeys are putting their lives at risk every race. Thoughts go out to his family.
