The Bulldogs signing spree continues with the Belmore-based club adding Jaeman Salmon and Blake Taaffe to the Canterbury-Bankstown rebuild for next season.
Off the back of the immediate transfer of ex-South Sydney forward Liam Knight, Canterbury-Bankstown have now added premiership-winning Panthers utility Salmon and South Sydney talent Taaffe to the club’s top 30 roster for next season.
Ex-Sydney Roosters prop Siua Taukeiaho is also on the verge of a return to the NRL from the UK Super League club Catalans as the Bulldogs set about shaking-up an under-performing roster.
The signature of Salmon will mean the Bulldogs will field four ex-Panthers players in the club’s top 17 next season with Salmon and NSW Origin centre Stephen Crichton set to link with Matt Burton and this year’s star recruit Viliame Kikau.
Salmon, 24, has played 40 games for the Panthers over the course of the past two seasons covering a variety of positions including backrow and in the halves.
Taaffe, 24, is a South Sydney and Central Coast junior who played fullback for the Rabbitohs in the 2021 grand final and can also cover a number of positions including fullback and the halves.
