Skelton/Wilson/Taaffe for Wiremu Greig/Emre Guler/Mathew Croker.

Any one of those 3 backs for one of those props would help our team.

all three of those props are playing reggies atm - not sure why as their fg teams are not exactly playing well.

Personally, I think he makes a good 14 right now (covering almost every position bar halves), could replace JAC when he’s done, I rate him higher than Wilson.

I rate him higher than Wilson too but Mann is the best 14 option for me

Mann is very reliable goes hard tackles hard and looks for opportunities and always looking for Burton close to him

I think we need to try and find a spot on the bench soon for Skelton. I think he could be such a massive X- factor

Bronson xerri will be signed he will definitely be with us they will extend him for another 3 years and Skelton they will extend 100%

I'd like to see Skelton develop as a specialist 17.
To come on early in the backs or forwards if there is an early injury as a strike weapon late in a tight game.

I have banged on about this for ages but the NRL has made the game too fast and too high impact and players bodies are not keeping up.

Because the NRL won't be able to slow the game up, teams have to adjust.

And one adjustment is the regular selection of a bench player who can be an early replacement or a strike player.

Skelton is perfect for that role.

I have thought along similar lines. I have suggested earlier he would be a good concussion sub.

I mentioned that earlier and believe he'll either bide his time and sneak into the team, or be bartered off. Same way we bartered of Gabrielle for Tracey.

Skelton will 100% play NRL. But he is winger and a winger only. He will not make FG whilst ever, Wilson, Kiraz or Jac are still here.

Easy to forget how much depth we have particularly in the backrow, fair call, Curran is a straight up blue collar dawg, he’s been great to watch, someone you’d want to go into battle with….

Week after week...Yesterday stats - 1 Try, 262 All run metres, 116 Post contact metres, 12 Tackle breaks, 3 line breaks, 2 offloads and 0 missed tackles.

Surely put him on the bench or the Roosters will get this guy to replace Suaalii and watch him carve us up next year. Will be up there with the Damian Cook recruitment debacle.

Unfortunately it will take a few losses and several injuries before Skelton gets a run. I wouldn’t be mad if he gets picked up by a contender and kills it because he deserves to be higher up in our pecking order, even if it means a bench spot

He was humble hey. Love to see him re-signed and yes shades of Damian Cook but surely Gus and Ciro can see Red's potential and won't lose him to another club. Other clubs gonna be circling hard. Anyone know who his manager is?
