Well there's nothing saying they can't. Maybe a little short on the pace line up without Munaf PAtel and Sreesanth.

They should've won last time without Warne and McGrath but didn't get early wkts after they made 7/705.

Sehwag should be in the line up. But Jaffer has come off a dbl hundred and Yuvraj needs a spot as well.

I'd say if Dravid can't get his act right then drop him for Sachin's twin.

I dont fathom how they can't come up with 11 quality players from a billion inhabitants of a cricket mad nation.

Really, they should be #1 by miles, they should have invested $$ 10-15 yrs ago and adopt an aussie style system, instead of these stupid # of odi's and stupid IPL thing to waste $$ on.

australia has always done well on a capita basis.
E.g olympics. if u divide each gold medal by population i beat australia would b like top 5 lol. Same goes with heaps of other sports. We just have good comps back home which mite actually b damaging the sport as were just 2 good haha.

YEah swimming is a big example of the talent man. Per capita we match it with the Yanks and they have 15x our pop.

Cricket, each of our top 3 states would be no lower than 6th or 7th on the icc test rankings.

Soccer, our talent gets sent o'seas and some of the players lose their nationality to their birth nation eg, christian vieri and others.
