It all comes down to benefits.

I agree with the former. I’ve got colleagues there who are genuinely questioning if they want to stay. Hopefully we don’t get anywhere near as bad in terms of polarisation and people rioting in the streets.

I wouldn’t live there and not just because it’s full of French people haha.

The yellow jacket movement started over minimum wages for agricultural workers. The current immigrant crisis is over people defrauding the welfare scheme for immigrants and immigrants belief that they are being targeted.

Cannot comment about your 6 months on/off but the latest issue was raising the retirement age from 62 to 64. Not what you would think is that big a deal. Unless you get some crackers politicians pushing buttons....

And many don't. Its not the average Joe that has been out there for the last 10 years causing havoc. So who is using the media to amplify?

The argument is that the wealthy should be paying more in France, yet France have a IFI tax. No idea if this is enough or not but regardless, thinking Le Pen is the answer to Macron should be an easy lesson to learn - just look at the US.

The basics of it is that a police officer shot and killed a teenager during a traffic stop. The police released a report saying that the the teenager attempted to run the police over and the officer fired his gun to defend himself.

Then footage came out showing that the teenager was slowly driving away when the officer shot and killed him.

The officer was immediately arrested, but the people still rioted because many police officers covered up the murder and they are not going to be charged at all.
