Air Vanuatu has gone into liquidation. They have cancelled at least 26 flights from Australia and NZ. Their own Boeing B737-800 YJ-AV8 has sat at Melbourne Airport since mid-January with other airlines and aircraft operating flights to Vanuatu on their behalf.

Currently watching Masters of the Air, decent story line, quality visuals and the ATMOS audio is super, especially the B17's sound track courtesy of Sentimental Journey.

"Operated and maintained by CAF Airbase Arizona, Sentimental Journey is one of the few airworthy B-17 Flying Fortresses left, authentically restored to its former glory. The production crew got to work in April 2022, placing microphones inside the plane and around the airfield during pilot training flights, capturing the raw sounds needed for the series."

Was down south this weekend so took a swing via HARS. VH-OJA has seen better days but parked where the left wing comes over the road is petty cool.

Also funny that being the queen of the skies for decades those RB-211 engines look like toys vs the XWB-97’s on an A350, but shows RR’s evolution too.
