The floodgates have opened. Anasta was perfectly right in saying the NRL need to help the Dogs against Topine or there's gonna be a flood of claims.

If clubs and the game collapse because of this I hope the journos backing Topine will be happy when they're out of a job.

I look forward to seeing how Brent Read and co are going to criticise Manly and every other club accused - probably won't though hey, just us

Was Dan Ferris the Head of High Performance trainer over there in 2017?

Best prop in the game
He should be able to survive without water

In seriousness though it will be interesting

The beginning of the end of Sport as we know it.....

That is unless it becomes mandatory for players to sign waivers which are included in their contracts - that's the only way forward.

There are certain waivers and stipulations in their deals already. But maybe they have to adjust it and change the wording even more.

The game will be fine.. the biggest thing that will come of all this is changes in these types of practices and possibly more regulations to regular training.

An important one right now I thought would be to safe guard the NRL & clubs against the long term effect of head knocks sustained whilst playing, otherwise don't play.

Why hasn’t the NRL made it mandatory to wear head gear ?
Surely it’s close to time
We can have 13 Matt Burton look alikes on field at the same time

Research has shown headgear provides no protection against concussions.
